Recommended Guidelines for the Care of Power Boilers

Provides guidelines to assist those directly responsible for operating, maintaining, and examining power boilers.
These boilers include stationary, portable, and traction type boilers, but not locomotive and high-temperature water boilers, miniature boilers, nuclear power-plant boilers (see Section XI), heating boilers (see Section VI), pressure vessels, or marine boilers.
Guidelines are also provided for operation of auxiliary equipment and appliances that affect the safe and reliable operation of power boilers.《仮訳》
動力ボイラの運転、保守及び検査を直接担当する事業者を支援する指針を提供する。
本Sectionのボイラには、据置型、可搬型及び牽引型ボイラを含むが、機関車用ボイラ及び高温水ボイラ、原子力発電所用ボイラ（Section XI 参照）、圧力容器又は船用ボイラは含まない。
指針では、動力ボイラの安全で確実な運転を左右する補助機器及び器具の運転についても規定する。
