Provides general requirements which address the material, design, fabrication, examination, testing and overpressure protection of the items specified within each respective Subsection, assuring their structural integrity.Division 2 (ACI Standard 359) addresses design and construction of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete containment structures with metallic liners.
These requirements are applicable only to those components that are designed to provide a pressure retaining or containing barrier.《仮訳》
構造的完全性を保証するための各Subsectionに規定されている品目の材料、設計、製作、検査、試験及び過圧保護に関する一般要求事項について規定する。Division 2（ ACI規格359）は、金属製ライナ付き鉄筋プレストレストコンクリート格納容器構造物の設計及び建造を取り扱う。
これらの要求事項は、圧力保持又は耐圧障壁となるように設計された機器にのみ適用される。
