Provides general requirements which address the material, design, fabrication, examination, testing and overpressure protection of the items specified within each respective Subsection, assuring their structural integrity.Subsection NCA, which is referenced by and is an integral part of Division 1 and Division 2 of Section III, covers requirements for quality assurance, certification, and authorized inspection for Class 1, 2, 3, MC, CS, and CC construction.
Part C specifications are designated by SFA numbers and are derived from AWS specifications.

構造的完全性を保証するための各Subsectionに規定されている品目の材料、設計、製作、検査、試験及び過圧保護に関する一般要求事項について規定する。Section IIIのDivision 1及びDivision 2の不可欠の部として参照されるSubsection NCAは、 品質保証要求事項、認定並びに1、2、3、MC、CS及びCC構造の公認検査を取り扱う。
