| Objective |
This standard specifies a common report format for reporting measurements obtained from usability testing (the degree to which specific users achieve their goals with effectiveness， efficiency and satisfaction when using a system， product or service in a specific context) as defined in JIS Z 8521 (Ergonomics -- Interaction between humans and systems -- Definition and concept of usability). However， revisions will be made to enhance the content of the standard in light of recent production and usage practices. The main revisions are as follows: - The scope of application will include inspection， observation and survey evaluation methods in addition to traditional usability evaluation. - An overview of the above additions is provided in the sections on results and types of usability evaluation. - The content of the current standard is indicated in the description of content elements in the evaluation report， but the details will be revised to reflect changes over time. |
