| Objective |
This standard specifies methods for measuring optical reflectance parameters using an optical spectrum analyzer for all optical amplifiers and optical amplification systems， and will be revised in line with revisions to the corresponding international standards. The main revisions are as follows: - In response to market conditions， the scope of application will be expanded to include all commercially available optical amplifiers and optical amplification systems in addition to optical fiber amplifiers. - A new clause on terms， definitions and abbreviations will be created， and abbreviations such as amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) will be added. |
