| Objective |
This standard specifies fixed ceramic capacitors type 2 for use in electronic equipment， but revisions are being made to enhance the content of the standard in light of recent production and usage trends. The main revisions are as follows: - Regarding the temperature characteristics of capacitance， the EIA standard requirements for a reference temperature of 25°C will be added to the tables for maximum capacitance change in soldering heat resistance tests and non-repeated impact tests， as well as final measurements and requirements for continuous weathering tests， high-temperature and high-humidity tests， and durability tests. In addition， new requirements for temperature coefficients and tolerances for a reference temperature of 25°C in the EIA standard will be added to the appendix. |
