| Standard title | Hydraulic fluid power−Test method for electrically controlled oil hydraulic pumps |
| Objective |
This standard, established in 1989 and revised in 2002, specifies test methods for verifying the static and dynamic characteristics of electrically and electronically controlled positive displacement hydraulic pumps. Because ISO 17559 was still under development at the time of the 2002 revision, it was revised based on ISO_DIS 17559. Subsequently, in 2003, ISO 17559:2003 (hereinafter, ISO 17559:2003 will be referred to as the corresponding international standard) was established. The change from DIS to IS involved only editorial changes, with no technical differences, so JIS and ISO are consistent. Therefore, to ensure international compatibility of hydraulic pumps, it was necessary to revise this standard with editorial changes only. The main revisions are as follows: - A table showing the ゛allowable variation limits of control parameters゛ has been added to the steady-state specifications. The table now includes a reference to the annex ゛allowable systematic errors of measuring instruments determined during calibration.゛ In the tables and appendices, the values for Class B rotational speed will be changed to ±1 to conform to applicable international standards. - In the static characteristics test provisions, the dead band will be clarified by recording the change in the input signal from the minimum control pressure to 10% of the minimum control pressure in the ゛pressure characteristics versus input signal゛ graph. At least five points will be recorded on the graphs of ゛pressure change characteristics versus oil temperature change゛ and ゛flow rate change characteristics versus oil temperature change.゛ Each content in the diagram will be changed to conform to applicable international standards. - In the dynamic characteristics test provisions, the pump flow rate input signal value in the flow rate step response characteristics will be changed in steps from 10% of maximum flow rate to 90%, 75%, 50%, and 25% respectively to conform to applicable international standards. |
