This standard, which specifies a method for determining the differential pressure characteristics generated by the flow rate through a hydraulic control valve's flow path under steady-state conditions, was established in 2000 based on the corresponding international standard, ISO 4411:1986. The corresponding international standard was revised in October 2008, primarily to add a standard measurement plate and change the method of displaying results. This standard was revised in 2011 based on ISO 4411:2008. In 2019, ISO 4411 was revised to address issues and problems encountered in actual operations. Therefore, revisions to this standard were necessary to align with the corresponding international standard and ensure international compatibility of hydraulic valves. The main revisions are as follows: - The flow rate symbol ゛q v゛ was changed to ゛q゛ to align with the corresponding international standard. - The graphic symbol for relief valves was changed to align with the corresponding international standard in accordance with revisions to reference JIS B 0125-1 (Hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment -- Graphical symbols and circuit diagrams -- Part 1: Graphical symbols). JIS B 0125-1 has been revised to conform to the corresponding international standards. |
