This standard, based on JIS B 6190-1, JIS B 6190-2, and JIS B 6190-7, specifies geometric accuracy tests and positioning accuracy tests using numerically controlled axes for general-purpose, normal-precision moving-bridge (country-type) plano mirrors. However, revisions have been made to enhance the content of the standard in light of recent production and usage trends. The main revisions are as follows: - In the general section, provisions have been added regarding machine leveling, software correction, and measurement method diagrams in order to improve safety and introduce new technology. - The following changes have been made to the geometric accuracy test for linear motion axes: - New test items related to vertical motion (Z-axis) have been specified in order to conduct detailed tests of the geometric accuracy of vertical milling head movement. - In order to conduct detailed tests of the geometric accuracy of the W-axis movement of moving cross rails, new straightness and parallelism tests will be specified in place of the inspection item for the perpendicularity between the cross rail movement (R-axis) and the column movement (X-axis) and the vertical milling head saddle movement (Y-axis). - In order to conduct detailed tests of the tilt of the W-axis of moving cross rails, a new angle error test will be specified in place of the inspection item for tilt variation in the cross rail movement (R-axis). - In order to test the geometric accuracy of rotary tables, new tests for the runout of the rotary table and the parallelism of the Z-axis movement relative to the rotary table's rotation axis will be specified. - As there are few machines with swivel milling heads, test items related to the swivel milling head will be deleted from the positioning accuracy test of rotary tables. Additionally, inspection items related to the swivel axis will be deleted from the positioning accuracy test using numerical control, and a new test for the positioning accuracy of the rotary table will be specified. ・Since the standard JIS B 6190-12:2024, which specifies machining accuracy testing, has been published, machining accuracy inspection will be deleted from this standard. |
