| Objective |
This standard stipulates a gas permeability test method using the isobaric method for films， sheets， laminates， co-extrusions， and flexible plastic-coated materials. However， it was recently discovered that there was an error in the coefficients in the equation for calculating gas permeability using gas chromatography. This standard is being revised to correct the error and to improve the convenience of calculating gas permeability at actual temperatures. The main revisions are as follows: - The gas permeability calculation formula will be revised to include the gas temperature variable and gas constant. - The test results will now specify the temperature and pressure under standard conditions， and units for volume conversion will be added. |
